Trudy was born on March 9th, 1928 in Liebenau, Germany and passed away on January 11th, 2018 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 89 years.
Trudy immigrated to Canada in December, 1950 to marry Wilhelm Draht who predeceased her in March, 1979.
Trudy leaves behind two sons, Herb (Elke) and Bernie (Irm), and eleven grandchildren: Herb's children, Lisa (Justin) and Dan (Julie), and Bernie's children, Roberta, Eric, Rebekah, Sarah, Katharine, Alex (Jess), Luke, Calvin and Liam. Trudy also has four great-grandchildren, Oliver, Olivia, Abigail and newborn Ellie.
A family gathering to remember Trudy will take place on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Bethel Tea Room.
We, the family, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Noric House for their care and kindness over the past 10 years and to Dr. Spiller who provided medical care to her for the past 27 years. We are very grateful to you all.
