Gisela Else Mathilde Tkocz

December 16, 2019
It is with extremely heavy, but joyous hearts that we announce that our “beautiful Amo” was called Home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 16th, 2019 at the age of 95 years.
Gisela will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law; Cheryl (Ron) Fisher, her granddaughters; Laura (Brian), Cari (Tyler) and Robyn (Ryan), her extended grandchildren; Kristy (Taylor), Ryan (Sharon) and Shelby (Braydon), her 9 great-grandchildren, her sisters; Edith and Anne along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her only child Rupert in 1987 and her beloved husband Peter in 2011.
Gisela was a beautiful soul that touched the lives of all she came in contact with. She was a true angel on earth who had a brilliant smile for everyone. As her son would tell her, there are many Oma’s in the world but only one “Amo.”
In respecting Gisela’s wishes, she was cremated and no funeral service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Gisela to the Living Word Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff at Coldstream Meadows and Polson Care Home for their compassionate care given to Gisela during her time there.
Cremation arrangements have been made with
