GLEN DAVID HIGGINS passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Tuesday, December 9, 2003. Aged 65 years. Glen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by wife Ruth Dixon of Armstrong, brothers Elmer (Katherine) of Cranbrook, Clarence of Castlegar, Melvin of Sheridan Lake, Clifford (Lorna) of Cranbrook, Alan Donnley of Sherridan Lake, sisters Theresa (Gerald) Gunderson of Langley, Irene Julsrude of Prince George, Colleen (Larry) Cooper of Red Deer, June (Nick) Esinga of Merritt and Katherine (Pete) Cosey of Smithers; step-children Ruth (Steve) Haskivich of Vernon, Tom (Barb) Dixon of Burnaby, Ed (Cindy) Dixon of Armstrong and David (Brenda) Dixon of North Vancouver; many extended family and friends. Born and raised in the Cariboo, Glen moved to Armstrong from Terrace eleven years ago. He was a heavy duty mechanic by trade. Glen enjoyed trapping, fishing, hunting, the outdoors and woodworking. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2003, at Mountain View Chapel. Reverend Dr. Jonathan Dent officiating. Following the service a tea will be held at the Chapel.
