January 30, 1962 - May 16, 2017
It is with sadness and a sense of peace that we announce the passing of Glenda Chouinard on May 16, 2017 at the Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops after a short but courageous battle against cancer.
Glenda was born to Art and Nellie Chouinard on January 30, 1962 in Vernon, BC.
Glenda loved to swim, do crafts, coloring, enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and playing games. What she loved the most was spending time with all her family and friends.
Survived by her father Art Chouinard, sister Darlene Seery (Jon), brother Douglas (Linda) Chouinard, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her long time partner James Brock, mother Nellie Chouinard, brother-in-law Joe Seery, and nephew Greg Seery.
Glenda said that if she dies “I will be with Jim and Jesus.” You are safe in their arms, rest easy.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers that provided endless support to Glenda over the years.
