Glenna Rae Hoggarth

February 25, 1961 - November 28, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Glenna Rae Hoggarth. Born in Vernon on February 25th, 1961 to Percy and Phyllis Briggs. She is survived by her husband Kevin David Hoggarth, their 3 children Vanessa Rae Hoggarth, Todd James Hoggarth & Brayden Thomas Hoggarth. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and her circle of close and dear friends. Glenna was born and raised in Vernon, BC. Shortly after graduating from VSS in 1979 Glenna met the love of her life whom she married in 1985. She worked as a legal secretary before deciding to stay home for many years to raise her family. She returned to work in 2008 and retired from Debra Burdens notary office in 2016. Since retiring Glenna enjoyed an adventurous and happy retirement which included daily walks with friends, bike rides, visiting her children and vacationing with her husband and friends. Glenna was a beautiful kind soul who opened her heart and home to everyone she met. She brought an infectious laugh and energy that filled the room she was in. She loved a good joke or surprise and had a wicked sense of humour. She spoke often of how grateful she was to have a life so full of love and how spending time with family and friends brought her the highest joy.
A Celebration of Glenna's Life will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday December 14th, 2019 at Armstrong Bible Chapel (2145 Rosedale Avenue, Armstrong, BC). You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence at the family's on-line obituary @ www.MyAlternatives.ca
