WITZKE: Gordon Theodore.
December 3, 1946 – June 17,2016
Gordon fought a courageous battle with cancer. He deeply touched the lives of both family and friends. Gordon was the eldest son of Wilhelm and Wanda Witzke (Schmidt). He was a loving husband to Mary, brother to Gladys (Lawrence) Lopinski and Arnold (Patricia) Witzke, father to Nicole (Peter) Rattray, Michelle (Mark) Dressler, Kevin (James) Witzke, Douglas (Shirley) Mauger, Alice (Rick) Day, and a grandfather “Poppa” to 8 grandchildren. “Gordie” was a long-time Telus employee and was known for being kind and genuine to others. He was a solid believer in Christ and he provided us all with an example of a life lived with faith and love. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 16th, 2:00pm at St. Aidan’s Anglican Church,
380 Leathead Rd, Kelowna.
