Dec 3, 1936 - Nov 13, 2017
In Loving Memory of Grace Jean McLean who passed away peacefully on November 13, 2017.

We would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Noric House for their dedication, friendship and the loving care provided for Jean. The staff enhanced her quality of life for the past three years.

Jean was born in Glasgow, Scotland on December 3, 1936.  On her own she moved to Vernon BC in 1957 to stay with her aunt Helen Farrer.  She then met another immigrant, Fred Pansegrau, with whom she married and moved to Oyama to raise a family.

In addition to working a few seasons at Oyama Packing House, most of Jean's years were spent working as a clerk at CP transport in Vernon, Kelowna and Port Coquitlam.  She enjoyed reading, ceramics, knitting, quilting, travel and playing darts at the Legion.  There was a stage in her life where she was active outdoors, participating in off-road adventuring, camping and fishing.

She is deeply missed by her three children, Iain, David, and Fiona, her grand children, Janna, Colin, Shelby, and Stuart, as well as her great grandchild Cayleigh.

Jean is predeceased by her two younger brothers David and Iain (John) in Scotland.

The family will be having a private celebration of life in the spring.

Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family online at www.MyAlternatives.ca.
