Hans Schaffner

was born on March 30th, 1930 and passed away suddenly at his residence on the morning of April 21st, 2012 at the age of 82 years.

Hans will be lovingly remembered by his wife Inge, to whom he was married for almost 60 years; their sons, Claude (Nicole) and Harold (Eileen); their grandchildren, Amanda (John), Amber (Shaun), Jeremy (Aynsley) and Jeffery (Elise); four great-grandchildren, Makayla, Ava, Carter and Phoenix; his brother, Karl; and his sister, Gretel. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tara in 1999.

Hans was born in Crumstadt, Germany and came to Canada with his family in 1955. He was a long time resident and barber in Vernon since 1980.

Cremation preceded a private family service as this was Hans’ request.
