Harry Paul Schubert passed away suddenly in Polson Extended Care at Vernon, BC on Friday evening, July 1, 2005 at the age of 65 years.
A family graveside service was held at Mt. Ida Cemetery, Salmon Arm, on the morning of Monday, July 4th at 11:00 am with Jack Bowers officiating. His five sons were pallbearers and nephew, Fred Seefeld.
A memorial service will be held from the Enderby Drill Hall on Wednesday morning, July 6, 2005 at 10:00 am with Pastors Cal Foster and Owen Baker officiating.
Harry was a lifetime resident of the area, born in Salmon Arm on August 17, 1939. He had resided in Enderby for the past 27 years, having moved from Vernon. Following a lifetime career with sawmills, he recently retired from Schapol Logging.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Bertha and August; his sister, Martha and brother, David.
Harry leaves his loving family; wife, Shirley; 5 sons, Kurt (Mariel) of Vancouver, Dean (Julie) of Armstrong, Mark (Krystal) of Vernon, Dusty (Cassie) of Medicine Hat, Randy of Enderby; one grandson, David; two sisters, Laurie and Elsie of Snohomish, Washington, USA.
