In lieu of an Obituary the family has chosen to publish one of Helen's poems.
Your spirit lives on with us.

Untitled
When the time has come for me to die
Will I be brave; or will I wonder why
Will I feel peace and "face the sky"
Or will I fight - - will I cry?
Will someone I love be by my side
To hold my hand while I try to hide
From my Karma - certain as the flowing tide -
The Destiny by which I must abide?
Will I have done all I planned to do
Spoken that kind word to a friend so true
Did the deeds I wanted to?
When I look back ... they are so few ...
Will the Good Lord grant me time
To mend my ways
Will it take the rest of my days
To atone for the thoughtlessness and delays;
And the many sins "black, white and grey"?
Will I ever know what was God's plan for me?
Will I travel over the sea?
Will I leave a "spot" on Eternity?
My Lord God, it is up to Thee
Will I fight? Will I cry? Will I be brave? Will I wonder why?
When the time has come for me to die
Will I be at peace and face the sky?
