Helen Fisher (Tischik)
forever remembered…….forever loved
It is with heart felt sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Nana, Helen Fisher (Tischik) who passed away peacefully Oct 5th/14 at Hospice House. Helen was born in Armstrong in 1932 and came from a large family of brothers and sisters and she cherished her mother. Helen survived by her loving husband Wally Fisher for 62 years, along with her 2 children, Debbie and Wally jr. and two grand children, Shauna and Jess. Helen was a hard worker and was devoted to her family, always putting others first.
Along with being a hard worker, Helen was a talented painter, a gifted gardener, a wonderful cook and had an undeniable fondness for animals. Helen would often be seen loading stray dogs into her car, spending endless hours returning them home or finding them new homes. We will miss her sense of humour and her supportive words. She will always be in our hearts and we will all miss her dearly.
Cremation will be to follow and In lieu of flowers, Helen would be deeply touched and forever grateful if donations were made to an animal rescue of choice.
