In loving memory ~
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Pansegrau. He was predeceased by his son Gordon, his parents, brother Fred, and sisters Heddy (Erwin) and Hannelora (Ed). He is survived by his wife Edith, daughter Linda (Ian), grandsons Willem and Cormac, siblings; Helga (Bob), Hilde, and Herta (Ed), along with nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Henry appreciated living in the Okanagan with his career in the Vernon School District and as an orchardist in Oyama. He would often remark on the views from his home and how beautiful his drive to work was. Henry loved to travel and play golf in his retirement. He would always ask other golfers "How many birdies did you get?" He was very giving with his children and grandchildren who will cherish memories of good times together. Some words that loved ones gave when asked to describe Henry: are gregarious, joyful, generous, friendly, and wise. The best advice he would give his children was to keep a sense of humour. He will be remembered for his loud laugh. Henry loved get-togethers with family and friends and would say that he didn't want a memorial service. "Just have a party when I go."
Cremation preceded a celebration of Henry's life which will take place at a later date.
