It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of father, brother, uncle and grandpa. He is survived by one brother Albert/Bonnie of Kamloops, two sisters Ina/Allan Mellor – Cranbrook; Alyda/Eric Satre – Bella Coola, two daughters Barb and Wendy and four grandchildren. Also his nephews Chris – Calgary and Darren – Kelowna. Henry was predeceased by his common-law spouse Corinne Marchand in 2005.
Henry was born in Loppersem, Holland and came to Canada by ship and resided in Salmon Arm, Round Lake and Armstrong during his lifetime.
He was a heavy duty mechanic by trade. He loved mechanicing on cars, lawnmowers and could repair almost anything. He was also an avid gardener. He played guitar and harmonica.
A service will be held on De. 8th, 2012 at the New Horizons building on Westside Rd (OK Indian Reserve). Dinner will be served.
