It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Howard in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on September 14, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 63 years; Margaret, his sons Howard JR, Joel (Deborah), daughter Janice (Dan), seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother Bill (Nancy) and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents Howard Hogarth and Bessie (nee Wilkes) Sabine and son Douglas Mark. He was born in Marmora, ON. The family owned and operated the printing office for many years, he also worked as a millwright at Bethlehem Steel, prior to moving to Fort McMurray in 1978 where he worked at Syncrude until retirement in 1991. He then moved to Vernon, BC. Throughout his life he was a pilot, fireman, Masson, Legion member, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on the computer, doing family tree, making movies and birthday cards. We would like to thank the Hamlets for their loving care, Dr. George Borchert and the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
