Howard Johnson

November 18, 2016

August 15, 1918 - November 18, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce Howard’s passing at the age of 98.

Howard was predeceased by his wife Joan of 70 years, parents John and Hattie, sisters Jessie and Vera and brother Clarence. He leaves behind nieces and nephews.

Howard was raised in the Reid Lake area moving to Bednesti Lake as a young adult where he had a trap line and a business as a big game guide. He moved to the Okanagan area in the mid-fifties working as a carpenter and found his niche prospecting extensively in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. To say he loved the outdoors would be an understatement.

Howard retired in the Enderby, Armstrong area returning to Prince George in 2014 to be near family.

He will be missed by all that knew him for his gentle nature and the twinkle in his eye.

The family wish to thank Dr. Hagen and Dr. Grosse, the staff at Birchview Residence for the excellent loving care they gave our uncle. No service by request.
