It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Haldane announce her passing at Noric House in Vernon, BC on October 9, 2018 at the age of 97. A loving mother, grandmother and friend too many, Irene will be dearly missed by her extensive family and many good friends.
Irene was born on June 21, 1921 in Mainsville, Ontario. Irene moved to Vernon in 1997.
Her husband John Haldane, parents Stanley and Anna Adams, and brothers Delmar and Irwin predeceased Irene. Irene's legacy will live on in her children Georgina Haldane, Beatrice Haldane, Linda Ledbury (Douglas) and grandson Tristan Ledbury; along with numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at Schubert Centre in Vernon on October 19th between 2 - 4 pm.
The family wishes to thank the Staff at Noric House for providing excellent care and support to Irene and family. A special thanks to Christian Sjonnesen for the music he brought into Irene's life and the many "Good Night Irene" he sung to her.
