On August 23, 2018 at age 86, Irvin Eisler of Keremeos, British Columbia was called home to be with his Lord and Savior.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Olga, and children Sharon (Maurice), Brenda, Ken, Kevin and Michael (Michelle). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Donna (Kevin), Scott (Krista), Mark, Ashley, Ryan, Brittney, Levi, Jacob, Matthew, Nathalia and Jadyn as well as great grandchildren Emily, Tanner, Makenna and Madeline. Irvin was from a large family and leaves behind his brothers, Ron, Gordon, Herb and Harold as well as sisters, Lydia and Linda. He was predeceased by his parents Adolf and Leokadia, his brother Paul, and sisters, Hilda and Elsie. He also had many friends in both British Columbia and Alberta.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Okanagan Landing Community Church, 5871 Okanagan Landing Road in Vernon, British Columbia with Pastor Ray Sephton officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the church prior to the service starting at 9:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family would graciously accept donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Penticton Hospital that attended Irvin in his final days.
