We regret to announce the passing of Irvin James Jackson. Irvin was born in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan and has been in Vernon since 1974 and was well known in the construction industry. He is survived by his wife, Margaret and son Toni of Vernon, his son Bradley in Lethbridge and 2 daughters, Debbie and Anita of Calgary, Alberta, and his sister, Jackie of Westbank, B.C. He has 6 grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Floyd, Neil and Harold, and one sister Lee. He was well loved by his family and will be greatly missed. We look forward to the fulfillment of John 5:28 which gives us the wonderful hope of reuniting with our loved ones in the resurrection to the paradise earth.
Anyone wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Irvin may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society.
To the staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, we wish to convey our sincere appreciation and thanks for all the care and kindness you gave to Irvin.
A Memorial Service will be held for Irvin at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 20th at 1:00 PM. Reception will follow in the tea room following the service.
