Isabel Emily McCLOY

Born Sept 4th 1918 died peacefully July 4th 2005 with family present at the Royal Columbia Hospital. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Doug, Kevin (Lori), daughters Vyvian (Dan), Debbie, daughter-in-law Brenda, her grandchildren Jake (Leni), Sam (Teagan), Luke (Jenn), Wes, Darcy, Sophie and Maddie and her great-grandchildren Seamus, Isabel, Lucas, Elizabeth and Thomas. She is predeceased by husband Tom. Isabel lived life to the fullest, traveling and taking on new adventures at every opportunity. She was a participator involved in volunteer work at her church in White Rock and other charitable organizations. She volunteered at the Well Baby Clinic in Vernon for 17 years. Isabel greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and open generous heart. She came to Canada from England 1946 and fully embraced the people and the beauty of this country. Isabel was a conservationist long before blue boxes. Always optimistic, she faced this last great challenge with the same courage and determination she has shown throughout her life. A special thank you to her friends and the ladies of Holy Trinity for their ongoing support. Services will be held 11 am Monday July 11, 2005 at Anglican Church of the Holy Trinity 15115 Roper Ave. White Rock V4B 2E8.
