At the Vernon Jubilee Hospital, Jack Ball passed away peacefully, in his 92nd year.
Survived by his caring children, he was predeceased by his devoted and loving wife Bridget with whom he had shared life for 64 remarkable years. Prized father of three children; Judy, Bob (Dani) and Linda. His four grandchildren; Sarah (Dean), Daniel, Brianna (Mohamed) and Alex, and his two great-grandchildren, Reighley and Blaize, mourn the loss of their Grandad.
A man of extraordinary gentleness, full of knowledge and wisdom, he loved quiet times walking in the woods listening to the sounds of wildlife, watching for and identifying that ever-elusive bird that he had not yet seen (of which there were few). He treasured family times with those he loved, working around the house or in the garden side-by-side with his beloved wife, all the while nurturing growth in the people and nature around him. A lover of English football, history, working with his hands, and life in the quiet lane, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A private interment will be held at a later date.
