Jack Lewis Drew
With sorrow the family regrets to announce the passing of Jack Lewis Drew on February 7th 2014 at 83 years of age. His working life was spent as a finishing carpenter and a real estate developer and agent. He loved boating and spent many summer days on Galliano Island and exploring the coast of BC. Jack was a perfectionist in everything he did, whether it was his home, his garden or any of the wood working projects that he had on the go. Jack and his wife Audrey moved to Armstrong in 1988. Jack enjoyed bowling, fly fishing, hunting and cutting fire wood. He was the secretary of his bowling league for many years. Jack was well liked by everyone who met him. Jack added a wonderful extension to our family when he married June on August 20th 2011. Jack never quit making plans for the future. This was a wonderful gift to us all. Jack was predeceased by Tom, Olive and Audrey Drew. Those of us left with many wonderful memories are: his wife June Drew, his brother Dick (Marie), his son Steve (Helen) Drew, his daughter Lori (Rob) Rendell, his 8 step children, 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held on April 19th 2014.
