Jacob (Jack) LEINWEBER


Mr. Jacob (Jack) Leinweber passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8th, 2005 at the age of 80 years, with his loving family at his side. Jack was a Captain in the Calgary Fire Department (retired), veteran of WW II Royal Canadian Navy, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 25 Vernon, member of the Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club, his hobbies included golf, bowling, round dancing and square dancing. Jack is survived by his loving wife Wynn of sixty years, daughter Karen (David) Peterson of Barriere B.C., son Robert (Christine) of Calgary, Alberta, daughter Beverly (John White) Leinweber of Clearwater, B.C., five grandchildren, Michael (Alexandra) of Edmonton, AB, Gregory (Monica) of Barriere, BC, Christie and Lyndsay of Edmonton, AB, and Bill of Calgary, AB, two great grandsons, Alexander and Jacob of Barriere, BC. One brother Fred of Calgary, AB. Cremation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
