JAMES A. HUTCHISON passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on March 20, 2004. He was born on September 10, 1937 at Prince George, where he was a longtime employee of Northwood Pulp (Canfor). Jim moved to Lumby in June 2003 following his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Pauline; sons David of Grande Prairie, Scott (Jacqui) and Alex (Kathy) all of Prince George; daughters: Lindy (Wayne) Bellamy of Abbotsford, Leona (Denny) Prosser of MacKenzie, Cheryl (Cory) Wong of Medicine Hat, Crystal (Lee) Hesketh of Lumby, and Linda (Ken) Nicholson of Prince George. He is also survived by sister, Mavis MacDonald of Prince George; brothers Bonnie of Prince George and Adam (Diane) of White Rock; and many grandchildren, great-granchildren and nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law, Art MacDonald. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Tuesday, March 23, at 1:00 P.M., in the chapel of Vernon Funeral Home, with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating.
