Janis was born on August 4th, 1948 and was called Home to be with her Lord on April 14th, 2020 at the age of 71 years.
Janis will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Doug; three children, Lorne (Tammy) McKenzie, Lahneen (Trevor) Enders and April (Jesse) Brunelle; ten grandchildren, Chad, Joel, Andrew and Tanner McKenzie, Ryan and Mark Denison, Katie, Tessa, Rylee and Luke Brunelle; five brothers, Alan (Lynn) Schweb, Mark (Lory) Schweb, Clifford "Kip" (Lori) Schweb, Philip Schweb and Rendall (Marie) Schweb; four sisters, Dianne (Arthur) Enns, Sharon Mellett, Marlene (Brian) Isaac and Sandra Schweb; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and close long time friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Lesley Schweb.
It was Janis's wish to be cremated preceding a private family funeral. A celebration of life garden party to honour Janis's life will be held at the McKenzie gardens at a future date.
