Jayme Lynn Homeniuk passed away peacefully on September 26, 2021 in the Polson Care Home with her loving husband by her side.
Jayme was born in Dawson Creek BC, one of four children and married Don in January of 1965. Her children and family were the most important thing in her life.
Jayme loved fashion, glamour and beauty. She owned and operated Dream Makers Lingerie boutique in Kelowna.
She loved art and music and was a wonderful painter. She was extremely talented with interior decorating, loved to travel and has been to many places around the world.
Jayme will be sadly missed by her husband Don Homeniuk, children Darl (Marney), Warren (Amanda) and Tanya (Jeff), six grandchildren Sara (Behn), Brodie (Bree), Shelby, Oscar, Mason and Veronica, her brothers Ed and Tim and extended family.
Jayme is predeceased by her parents, Jim and Ruth and by the untimely passing of her brother Spencer.
A special thanks to the Polson Care Home for the loving care they provided to Jayme.
A memorial event will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2021 from 1-4pm at the Elks Lodge 45, 3103 30 Street in Vernon BC
Jayme's final wishes to have her remains cremated are being honored and in lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Jayme may do so to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada bcsc.ca
