Jean Helen Marie Cunning (nee Bradley) was born on December 9th, 1926 in Hazelcliffe, SK and passed away peacefully on January 10th, 2017 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 90 years. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Bob Cunning and Terry (Deanna) Cunning, her grandchildren; Britney and Madison Cunning along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Cunning, her sister; Edith Willits, her brothers; George and Roy Bradley and by her parents; Herald and Frances Bradley.
Jean’s creativity was always proudly displayed in her knitting, pottery, cross-stitch, sewing, needlepoint and crafts, all of which she taught and thoroughly enjoyed.
Jean was an active contributor to the community as she volunteered for over 9000 hours for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Auxiliary.
Cremation preceded a Celebration of Jean’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 30th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
