“God came down from Heaven,
He walked amidst the flowers,
He stopped to pick the sweetest one,
and the sweetest one was ours….
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.”
Prayers will be recited on Monday, August 30 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2210 – 40 Avenue, Vernon. Funeral Service will take place there on Tuesday, August 31 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Andrzej Wasylinko, Celebrant, followed by interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements are in the care of Vernon Funeral Home 250-542-0155.
