Jean Louise Moore passed away peacefully at Vernon Hospice House on Monday, June 21, 2004. Aged 84 years. Predeceased by husband Terry in 1976, Jean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughter Kate Moore (Robert Birnie) of Armstrong; son W. Roy Moore of Edmonton; grandson Travis (Wendy) Buckland, great-grandson Ethan all of Armstrong; brother W. Harold (Margurite) Jewell of St. Thomas, Ontario; Wilhemina Koyle, extended family and many friends. Born in Ontario, Jean moved to Armstrong in 1945 then to Vernon in 1986 and had lived at Canterbury Court since 2000. She enjoyed spending time with her family, the outdoors and nature. Active in the community Jean was president of the Quilting Guild, belonged to the Unitarian Church Group, Camera Club and Naturalists Club. Jean loved life and lived it to its fullest. A Memorial Tea will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at the Armstrong IOOF Hall. Bill Horner officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vernon & District Hospice House.
