February 10, 1920 - March 7, 2019
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jean was born in Edson, Alberta to parents Charles and Berniece Bowness and is survived by brother Sumner Bowness of Peers, Alberta and sister Muriel Warren of Prince Rupert, BC, estranged daughter Edna Louise Everest, daughters Beatrice Ann Kirkwood-Hackett and Norma Jean Godfrey, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by husband Les Roll, son David Roll, brothers Horace and Bernard Bowness, grandsons Brian and Dwight Everest.
We will miss her wild stories and ironic sense of humour, she kept us on our toes and taught us that seeing is believing and to always speak your mind. A memorial will be held in the summer. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca.
