Mrs. Jean Ranger passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Thursday, August 30th, 2007 at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Audrey (Ron) King of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Robert (Mae) Ranger of Armstrong, B.C., Lloyd Ranger of Vernon, B.C., Lorraine (Bob) Prosser of Vernon, B.C., and Derryl (Alice) Ranger of Vernon, B.C.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her parents, Euclide Dupuis; her mother, Georgina Fortier; eleven sisters and seven brothers. Jean loved gardening and spending time tending her flowers. She was a great hostess, enjoying serving her family and friends her delicious baking. Jean also enjoyed music and was known for great yodelling. Cremation preceded the Funeral Mass which will be held at Our Lady Of The Valley Catholic Church on Thursday, September 6th, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Father Martin Peyton celebrant. Interment of Jean’s cremated remains will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Jean to the B.C.
