In loving memory ~
With love, we regrettably announce the passing of our beloved Mom. She was loved by so many and will forever be in our hearts.
Mom was born in Owen Sound ON and raised in Port Elgin. In 1962 Mom came west on the train to New Westminster BC, where she lived with her cousin Bevanne, whom she loved more like a sister.
Her parents Bert and Harriet followed her west in 1964 and soon after that her brothers Jim and Bob followed. Later, she met our father and had her family: Danny, Jamie and Becky. She lived a happy life surrounded by her family who loved her as much as she loved us.
Mom is survived by her brothers Jim (Judy) and Bob of Smithers. Her son James (Susie) of Armstrong and daughter Becky (John) of Vernon. She had eight grandchildren: Elizabeth, Megan, Alexandre, Sydney, Victoria, Ian, Anna and Nolan. Five great grandchildren; Ivory, Evelyn, Henry, Layla and Hazel. Several nieces and nephews, four special young ladies and one special young man who she lovingly cared for as though they were her own. Mom was preceded in death by her first-born child and our brother (Danny), our father (Dan) and her parents (Bert and Harriet).
There will be a small private service if you would like to attend, please contact Becky or James directly and we will try our best to reserve a seat for you.
