Jeanne Aurea Vowles

was born on January 3rd, 1937 in Victoria, B.C. and passed away suddenly at her residence in Vernon, B.C. on October 14th, 2009 as the result of a massive heart attack. She was 72 years of age at the time of her death.

Jeanne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ed, to whom she was married for 54 years; her children, Wayne Vowles and Lynn Watt; three grandchildren, Jody, Jennifer and Melissa; and one great-grandchild, Shelby

Jeanne was a wonderful, loving, caring and giving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a person who always put others before herself. Jeanne was a woman of many talents: gardening, sewing, knitting, cooking, baking, painting and decorating; all done to perfection. Her main passion in life was her Sheltie dogs. She loved working with them in dog obedience and participating in dog shows. Jeanne will live on in our hearts forever and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Jeanne’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 24th, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
