Jim Trainor

The family of Jim Trainor announce with sadness the passing of his life. Jim was born in Toronto on December 6, 1940. He apprenticed as a mechanic in Weston, Ont. He married in Ontario and ventured west in 1967 with his family. In total Jim worked for General Motors for 47 years, many of those years at Vernon Motor Products, then Bannister’s dealership.

His most favourite hobbies were farming, fishing, hunting and enjoying the gardens. He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of 54 years; daughters are Angela (Rob) Borshowa, Darlene (Doug) Robertson; grandson Dennis Robertson; granddaughter Lauren Borshowa; extended family Cody (Klara, great-grandson Asher James) & Kyle Robertson and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Service will be held at Alternatives Funeral Services, 2980 Smith Dr. in Armstrong on Monday, December 1st at 1pm.
