Joanna Margaret Hay (nee Farmer), who died Monday, May 6, 2019, was a teacher in school district 22 for close to thirty years. A 1958 Agriculture graduate of UBC, she taught biology, agriculture, and math. She was head of the Lumby Beef 4H, member of the Vernon Riding Club, and supported World Vision.
Survived by her son Nairn (Paula), daughter Sarah (Simon), brother Geoff (Mabel), sister Wendy (Lorne) and grandchildren Alex, Rob, Liam and Aiden.
In lieu of flowers, donations to North Okanagan Hospice Society or Kelowna SPCA.
