Jodie Corrinne Lang

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Jodie Corrinne Lang on February 14, 2023. Jodie was born on October 1, 1972 in Vernon, B.C. and lived in Falkland for most of her life only leaving briefly to attend college in Kamloops.
Jodie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Jason Lang and their two children Shellaine Lang (Jesse) and Quaid (Sydney) Lang. She was blessed with one grandson, Ryler, with whom she was over the moon in love with.
Jodie is also survived by her dad, Duane Ricard, brother Troy (Karie) Ricard, sister Stacey (Ross) Waby and six nieces and nephews, Tyson, Blake, Dylan, Raina, Masyn and Lawson. Jodie also leaves behind a very loved extended family.
Jodie was predeceased by her grandparents Albert and Mabel Ricard and Jim and Margaret Churchill, her mom Lorna Ricard and her in-laws Ken and Bette Lang.
Jodie's smile was contagious and her sense of humour was like no other. Jodie touched many lives and was loved by those who were lucky enough to have known her. She will be remembered always and missed forever.
Family and Friends are invited to say goodbye to Jodie on Friday March 17 at the Falkland Community Church at 11:00 am with a tea to follow at the Falkland Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jodie's name to the Falkland Historical Museum, a place near and dear to her heart.
