John Alastair Brock
February 24, 1940 – May 28, 2013
In loving memory of John Alastair Brock, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, who passed away in his sleep from a heart attack, with his wife by his side, on a Mediterranean Cruise.
John is survived by his loving wife, Elaine, daughter, Vivienne, son, Simon, brother, Kenneth (Jenny), grandchildren, Kelsey and Erin, and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
John was born on February 24, 1940 in Croydon, England to Arthur and Helena Brock. He served in the Royal Air Force for 5 years, stationed primarily in the Middle East. John immigrated to Canada in 1965 and was employed as a lighting engineer. In 1968 he became the proud father of Vivienne with his first wife, Anne. John moved to Vancouver in 1974 and in 1982 married Elaine. They became the proud parents of Simon in 1986. They moved to Vernon in 1993 and John followed his passion for real estate for 12 years.
John lived life to the fullest, with every day being a new adventure. Family and friends were the most important part of his life. He inspired those close to him to follow their dreams. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held at Alexanders, 12408 Kalamalka Rd., Coldstream, B.C. on June 19 at 12:00 p.m.
