John Thomas Tansley passed away at his residence in Armstrong on Monday, September 19, 2005. Aged 63 years. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by partner Berniece McCallan of Armstrong; three brothers Jim of Port Moody, Dick of Campbell River and Don of Surrey; extended family and many friends. Predeceased by parents Lorne and Norma Tansley. John was born at Windsor, Ontario and grew up in Medicine Hat, Alberta. He had lived at Vancouver where he worked in the automobile industry — a family tradition. Upon retiring, John moved to Armstrong seven years ago. John’s passion was golf and curling, he also enjoyed trips to Palm Desert and spending time with friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the Armstrong Curling Club. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to a charity of your choice.
