It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of dear father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, John George Stewart ("Butch").
John passed away on Friday, November 17th in his 73rd year.
He will be sadly missed by his sons David (Susan), Kevin (Tamra), Greg (Andrea) and his daughter Tammy (Jamie). Loving grandpa to Jamie, Mackenzie, Spencer, Kerianne, Joel, Brandon, and Kiera.
John will also be missed by siblings Dena (George), Bobby (Sharon), Eddie (Natalia), Rollie and Ronnie as well as his nieces and nephews.
John was an avid golfer who spent many happy moments on the golf course. It is of some comfort to know that Dad is up there right now setting his sights on his next hole-in-one.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the kind stranger who stepped in to provide help and comfort in the end and to Dena for taking care of the arrangements.
In lieu of a service, family members far and wide will be saying their private goodbyes to John.
