Oct 30, 1922 - Jun 4, 2018
Jack departed from this world on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Vernon, BC at the age of ninety-five years. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Jack was born October 30, 1922 in Kelowna, BC, the only child of Thomas and Rita (Maxwell) Morrison, both from early pioneer families in the Okanagan.

Jack leaves a legacy of love to his family. He started as an only child and has left an ever expanding family of one hundred and twenty eight members today.  This includes thirty grandchildren and fifty-one great grandchildren. Jack is survived by his ten children: Peggy (John) Beaton, Jacque (Don) Schneider, Norma Southward, Sheila (Doug) Sullivan, Maryanne Agar, Barbara (Charles) Kasnik, Duncan (Kelly) Morrison, John (Linda) Morrison, Pamela (Michael) Smith and most especially Lisa Morrison who devoted many years to Dad as his loving caregiver. Our family gives her our most loving and sincere appreciation.

Jack was predeceased by the love of his life, Frances; his sons-in-law, Corky Agar and Allan Southward; and his granddaughter, Tara Southward.

Jack loved his profession of automotive machinist and became owner/operator of automotive parts stores and machine shops in Vernon, Lumby and Salmon Arm. He also participated and held many positions with the Knights of Columbus and Parish communities in Rutland and Vernon, Royal Canadian Air Force Association, Okanagan Historical Society and the Scouting Movement.

Thank you, Dad, for teaching us all so much about life, love and the power of family.
