With great sadness we announce the death of John earlier in February. After he had a very severe bout of pneumonia in 2017 he and his wife Mary moved to a Care Home in Kamloops. He died in the Kamloops Hospice.
John is survived by his 3 children: Darrel (Taffy), Debbie and Tracy and their partners and his step children Grant (Wendy), Brent (Simone) and Susan Nixon and numerous grandchildren. Mary, his wife of 43 years, has moved to a care home in Summerland close to her son Grant and family. The consummate host he was well known and loved in Vernon, Salmon Arm and Blind Bay by his many friends and colleagues.
