John Norman May passed away at Shuswap Lake Hospital, Salmon Arm on Wednesday, October 4, 2006. Aged 85 years. John will be lovingly remembered by wife of 61 years, Velma; three daughters, Shirley (Allan) Moubray of Trail, Barb (Keith) Allan of Kamloops and Linda (Ted) Bamford of Maidstone, Saskatchewan; six grandchildren, Sheri Moubray, Brad (Codie) and Kyle Allan, Tammy (Alan) Parkin, William and Adam Bamford; great grandchildren Chris, Taylor, Kyla, Samantha and Avery; great-great grandson Cohen; sister Joyce Thompson of Summerland, sister-in-law Eileen May of Enderby, extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by parents Phillip and Gertrude, brother Arthur and grandson Terry Moubray. Born in Enderby, John lived at the Berry Farm at the top of Springbend Road until moving to Stephney Cross Road. In 1934 they moved back to Springbend area and have resided there since. John was active in the community, a life member of the Enderby & District Fish and Game Club, Vernon Pigeon & Poultry Club and had been on the IPE Board. He was a farmer and plumber, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A Memorial Service was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2006, at the Enderby Seniors Complex. Louise Burton
