was born in Meppel, Netherlands on March 21st, 1929 and was called Home to be with his Lord on November 5th, 2016 at the age of 87 years.
John will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Jane Stam of Abbotsford, B.C., Dick Vanderlinde of Vernon, B.C. and Bill (Bonita) Vanderlinde of Winnipeg, Manitoba; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cory and Mein of the Netherlands; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Cornelia (Corry); one grandson, Jeffrey; one granddaughter, Kimberly; one brother and one sister.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Canadian Reformed Church, 5600 MacDonald Road, on Thursday, November 10th, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Arend Witten officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Surrey, B.C. on Monday, November 14th, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.
