Jordan Martin Kemila, beloved husband of Denise Lynn Kemila of Lacombe, Alberta passed peacefully on Friday, March 7th, 2008 at the age of 37 years after a brave and valiant battle.
Born in Vernon, British Columbia, Jordan lived in Edmonton, Alberta as a child and then moved back to Vernon in his teen years. Jordan has lived in various parts of British Columbia and Alberta including Provost. He married Denise Lynn MacLean on December 30th, 2000 with whom he had a beautiful daughter Rhyanna Jordyn. Jordan had a kind and loving spirit and was passionate about his family and friends. He loved the outdoors, camping, and the Edmonton Oilers; but most of all spending time with ‘his girls.’
Jordan is survived by his loving wife Denise; daughter Rhyanna; father and mother Jerome and Lorraine Kemila; twin brother Jason (Cara) Kemila; mother-in-law Dauphinee Campbell; Father-in-law William MacLean; brother-in-law Breton (Shannon) MacLeod; sister-in-law Karla Macleod; nephews Kadin and Donovan; as well as other numerous family members and friends whose lives were touched by him. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Elva and Douglas Kemila; maternal grandparents Laura and Stanley Martin and his ever-faithful friend ‘Chewy.’
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made in trust for his young daughter Rhyanna. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, Alberta. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to (subject- Kelia).
