May 20, 1941 - Jan 30, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josef (Sepp) Totter, January 30, 2018. Sepp was born in Graz, Austria on May 20th, 1941.

He worked as a fabricator/welder for 7 years in Germany. Sepp met his wife to be, Roswitha, in Bad Hofgastein, Austria in 1968 and they were married in 1969.

The Totter's resided in Austria until 1976, then moved to South Africa and finally to Canada. Their first adventure was in Ontario where they ran a dairy farm. In 1984 they moved west and wound up in Sicamous, BC. There Sepp carried on with his welding/repair business which was located just east of Sicamous on the Trans Canada Highway.

Sepp was well known for his artistic blacksmithing works of art. Sepp loved the outdoors and was an active quadding enthusiast right up to the end. Sepp and Roswitha retired in 2007, building a house out in Cambie, and then moved to Vernon in 2016.

Sepp is survived by his long time wife, Roswitha; daughter, Sabine and son-in-law, Gideon.

A special thanks to the nurses and doctors in the ICU Ward and Palliative Care Ward at Vernon Jubilee Hospital for looking after Sepp so well. They made his last days much easier.

In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in Sepp's memory may do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
