Joseph Chabot

We regret to announce the death at Hospice House in Vernon on March 11, 2003, of JOSEPH ALBERT CHABOT, at the age of 71 years. Joe was a resident of the Okanagan area for over 50 years, with the last 18 years in Falkland. He loved the outdoors and was an ardent fisherman, hunter and goldpanner. Joe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his former wife and good friend, Julianna; sons Tim (Millie) of Myakka City, Florida, and Paul (Cathie) of Fort St. John; daughter Lisa (Bruce Smith) of Glade, B.C.; and four grandchildren: Julianna, Jennifer, Saleena and Caitlyn. He is also survived by brothers: Alfred, Alphonse, Leo (Gwen), Dennis (Val), and Jean (Lynn); sisters: Albertine, Mary-Jean, Lillian (Roy), Camelia (Cleo), Emiline (Jim), and Noella (Paul); and numerous extended family members. Joe was predeceased by his parents and by brothers Victor, Art, and Camile. Following his wishes, there will be no public funeral service.
