It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of Joey on March 24, 2017. Joey was born in Vernon on February 4, 1946 in Coldstream where he grew up. He spent his life working as a lineman in BC and the USA.
“Gedo” is survived by his wife, Carol Johnston of 29 years; his son, Mathew; his daughter, Jennifer; two granddaughters, Jessica and Stephanie and by one step-son, Sean Johnston and his two children, Colson and Averi. He is also survived by one brother and six sisters.
Joey lived his life to the fullest motorcycling, quading, hunting and most of all, he enjoyed sitting under his favourite tree is his backyard enjoying his many friends.
There will be a Celebrtion of Life on April 8, from 1 - 4 pm at the Army Navy Club.
