Joe passed away

peacefully in his

Vernon condo. He

was predeceased by

his parents, Marta

and William Krukoff;

and is survived by: his

brother Alec of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; sister

Florence Schwan; brother-in-law Dieter Schwan

of Coldstream; niece Michelle Schwan (Justin);

nephew Darren Schwan of Calgary; and great niece

Talea Van de Graff of Calgary.

Joe was born in Canora, Saskatchewan and raised

on a farm. After a country school education to

grade 7, he continued further education in Canora,

graduating from Canora High School in 1962.

He helped out on the farm for a few years and then

worked for Sask. Power, building steel power line

towers in northern Saskatchewan. In 1970, he

moved to Kitimat to work at Alcan until retirement.

His final move was to Vernon where he enjoyed a

life of leisure and freedom to do as he chose. Joe

will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at

Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, August

5th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Brian Jackson officiating

In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make

memorial contributions in memory of Joe may

do so to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital – coronary

division.
