Joyce was born on May 9th, 1929 in Logan, Utah, United States and was called Home to be with her Lord on March 19th, 2022 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Jim of Riddle, Oregon, Dave (Evelyn) of Burbank, Washington and Tim (Bev) of Lumby, B.C., her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Jim (June 1989), her daughter Sue (1995), her brother Carl Flach and by her parents George & Afton Flach.
Joyce was born and raised in the United States. She married Jim on December 22nd, 1946 in California and they moved to Canada in 1974. Her love and passion was art and she was well known for her pastel portraits. She also taught art classes to many people over the years. Joyce had a strong faith and was active in her church.
A Graveside service was held at the Lumby Cemetery on Friday, March 25th, 2022 with Pastor Pat Stich officiating.
