In loving memory ~
My life was a blessing. I found a job that I loved, and that job allowed me to travel around the world and introduced me to so many marvellous people.
Family is not defined by biology. Family comes in many forms - they love us and within the safety of that love they allow us to rediscover or redefine ourselves and to grow. My life has been a journey. I could not have made that journey without the love and support of the friends and family I found in each country that I travelled to. I was truly blessed to have family in England, New Zealand, and Australia. And I cannot forget my family from the North - they were so wonderful to work with all those years.
These last years have been the most difficult of times for me. I am so grateful for the neighbours I found when I moved into my home in Armstrong: they became my friends and community. They were there for me whenever I needed them, sometimes even before I asked. Thank you all.
When I was forced to leave my home my friends Maureen and Marla were there to help me work through that very difficult time and I thank them so very much for that help.
I leave behind my dad Gordon and my brother Scott. I will miss them the most. But I believe, by the grace of God, we shall meet again.
