"Everything happens for a reason"
It is with loving, but heavy hearts we announce the passing of Judith Seeber on November 2, 2021. She will be missed terribly by her husband Russel, daughter Angeline, son Robyn, sisters Catherine, Ann and Sarah, brother Geraint, and many loving friends, neighbours, and coworkers.
Judith Seeber was born on October 25, 1953; in Llansantffraid, a small village in Wales, UK. Her parents were both educators, until coming to Canada in 1956. Her family settled in Summerland, before moving just outside of Lumby, to Cedar Spring Ranch in 1968.
Her father adopted the rancher lifestyle, raising cattle and horses. Judith became an excellent horseback rider, and was passionate about breaking, taming, and riding horses. Her love of animals continued later in life, when she began to raise exotic Burmese cats.
As she got older, her spirit of adventure continued to grow. She became an artist, went to hairdressing school, became a professional cook; all before beginning to work at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Judy (as she was affectionately called) loved to travel, especially with her family and friends. When she wasn't traveling, you could find her enjoying a round of golf or curling, or down at the lake.
Judy, with her adventurous spirit and endless kindness will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
